Pittsford Education Foundation Mission

The Pittsford Education Foundation’s goal is to enrich the educational experience for all PCSD students by providing financial resources to support and enhance strategically-aligned educational programs beyond what public-funding government alone can provide. We welcome funding inquiries and grant applications from any Pittsford Central School District teacher, staff member or club adviser.

Engage students in learning by increasing rigor and authenticity through the development and use of:

  • Instructional moves that allow for students to be involved in complex and challenging thinking

  • Practices that create a welcoming and affirming environment

  • Curriculum and dynamic structures that require integrative thinking and a global perspective/involvement

How to apply for a PEF Mini Grant

  1. Download and fill out our grant application form.

  2. Create an itemized budget that delineates how the requested money would be spent. Please share as many details as possible!

  3. Once the first two steps are complete, please submit this paperwork to your building principal.

Your principal will handle the process from there! Your application will be subject to approval by the principal and superintendent, helping to ensure your request is within the bounds of our mission. You may be asked for clarification during this process. In all cases, copies of your application will be sent to the Pittsford Education Foundation.
